The wavelength referenced FBG consists of a grating combined with an actively stabilized setup. The encapsulated FGBs provide a very stable and long-term drift-free filter response. During its whole lifetime it shows whether a drift of its center wavelength nor its filter response.
Therefore it is an excellent wave- length reference, very compar- able with the standard gas ab- sorption cells. Our devices can be certified by the PTB, a German organization that is comparable to the NIST.
