Due to the high number of mea- surement applications that require highly flexible designs for the sys- tems, we provide customized units. These units might be com- bined by single FBG modules and cascaded FBG modules, as well as with channel expansion units, couplers, circulators, splitters, polarization controllers and other components.
These components can be easily added per "plug and play" as long as the case of the unit is a stan- dard 19" module frame. So the customer is able to change modu- les and/or expand the device at a possible later state.
